City Furniture - BioCycle Station

The BioCycle project aims to create a harmonious balance between people, society, and the environment through sustainable practices. It focuses on transforming biomass waste into valuable resources, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting circular economy principles. By inspiring active participation and awareness, the project strives to establish a greener and more sustainable society. Through waste management, carbon reduction, and sustainable product development, BioCycle fosters a symbiotic relationship between humans and the environment, promoting responsible daily practices for a sustainable future.

The BioCycle solution applied to this design is the integration of a community-based equipment system. Users can rent kitchen waste containers to collect their food waste at home. When the containers are filled, they can visit the community-based BioCycle station to deposit their biomass waste. Through a low-temperature roasting technique, biomass waste is rapidly converted into biochar. This process enables waste recycling companies to recover biochar and transform it into commercial materials such as plastic masterbatch and architecture materials. This creative approach enhances waste recycling and creates valuable resources for various industries.
